About this piece
The Classic Flap in caviar — the grained, pebbled calfskin that wears markedly harder than lambskin and is usually the more sensible of the two for a bag intended to be used. Everything else is the familiar grammar: diamond quilting, the interlocking CC turnlock, the leather-threaded chain, and the back pocket Coco Chanel is said to have intended for banknotes.
