A vanity in monogram canvas — the boxy, upright case shape that Louis Vuitton has been making in one form or another since it was building trunks. The PM scale makes it a bag rather than a case.
Louis Vuitton began as a trunk-maker in 1854, and the house still builds bags like luggage: structured, corner-reinforced, made to be carried rather than protected.
